Who Should Attend? New Scoutmasters, new
Assistant Scoutmasters, new Troop Committee
members, Webelos Den Leaders transitioning into
troops, and interested parents.
What is it? Part one (Classroom portion)
of a two part training designed to help new
Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters understand
their new leadership position within a Boy Scout
Troop. The training topic covered consists of the
role of the Scoutmaster in a boy run and boy
lead troop, The Outdoor Program,
Advancement Program, Program Planning and Troop
Administration.
During the lunch break, those attending Outdoor
Leadership Skills Training (part two) will be placed into patrols and will be
planning for that training! Upon completion of
both part one and part two, you will be given your
"TRAINED" patch!
