DISTRICT POPCORN "KERNEL”

Basic Functions

A volunteer who is in charge with the total production of the District Popcorn sale. Work with Unit and Zone Chairperson and District Executives.

Evaluation Criteria

1. Attend Council and District Organization meetings as scheduled.

2. Recruit Zone Chairman (as needed).

3. Ensure the Zone Chairman contact units to explain the campaign, attain their commitment and establish a Unit Campaign Chairperson.

4. Promote Council level unit training meeting as scheduled.

5. Work through Zone Chairpersons to ensure unit participation and attendance at Council and/or District Training Meetings.

6. Work through Zone Chairpersons to have all unit packets pre-sorted and ready for pickup at Council training meeting.

7. Follow up on unit orders provided by Zone Chairpersons and make sure that Unit Chairman submits all orders to Council by due date.

8. Have Zone Chairpersons remind unit leaders as to when to pick up product from their delivery location.

9. Ensure all units submit payment by due date.

10. Upon completion of the sale, evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.

11. Attend Council Post-Sale Review Meeting and report on effectiveness of the campaign and recommendations.
