Cost: $5.00 per scout
Registration: Forms may be turned in at the December and January Roundtables
or by email to morton2001@peoplepc.com. Deadline is January Roundtable.
Patrols: Patrols should be formed from regular existing patrol as much as
possible. No Leadership, Venture or Varsity Patrols. Each patrol
should be composed of a minimum of 5 members.
Judging: The judging standard will be the First Aid Merit Badge pamphlet,
2006 printing. Each patrol should provide an adult to serve as judge.
Equipment: Each patrol should provide all equipment needed to demonstrate proficiency in the first aid situations presented. Points are given for use of proper equipment during the demonstration. This equipment would include rescue breathing barrier device, poles, blankets or other material to make a stretcher, sleeping bag and splints appropriate for arms/legs. Each patrol should have a first aid kit. Contents should include at least the items listed in the First Aid pamphlet.
